Julian J. Chisolm II was an instructor in entomology at the University of Maryland from 1943 until 1949. Chisolm's area of expertise was photography, and he was considered the unofficial campus photographer. Mr. Chisolm was awarded two medals by the International Salon of Nature Photography in 1941. The Soldier's Relief Hospital opened in Charleston on December 16, 1861.
